Tucked away in the hills of Khandallah, this 1930’s house needed more space for its growing family. We designed an extension with a modern aesthetic, creating another two bedrooms and a family room. The primary bedroom and ensuite was placed on the top level to capture more of the surrounding views of Wellington Harbour. Unique elements of the project include the round windows from the ensuite and walk in wardrobe. Corner windows were designed to capture as much surrounding view as possible. The exposed vertical timber façade makes the extension contrast to the existing building.
